Prosthetic Eye In-Service at Sydney Eye Hospital

In August, our Ocularist & ocular prosthetist ran an in service training session for staff at Sydney Eye Hospital


The in-service was run by our ocularist Jack, to better train the nurses, orthoptists and staff at the Sydney Eye Hospital on all things prosthetic eyes, artificial eyes and scleral shells.




It was great to run through all of our knowledge, and answer questions the staff had on care and maintenance of prosthetic eyes and common patient concerns.

Passionate about training

Our ocularist and prosthetic eye maker Jack, is very passionate about training and knowledge about prosthetic eyes and artificial eyes. We run training sessions at public and private ophthalmology clinics in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as seminars for optometrists across Australia.
